Deep in the heart of Texas, located on Bosque County Road 4145 between Cranfills Gap and Clifton, is what the local people call “The Rock Church.” Built in 1886 by Norwegian settlers in the area, Saint Olaf Lutheran Church (St Olafs Kirke – as it is carved above the doorway) still serves as a place of worship, especially at Christmas Evening candlelight service and Easter sunrise service.
Join us for all or any events!
Some of the best and happiest memories of many lifetimes is here in this quiet country church, when wedding vows are exchanged, or babies are christened, or families gather to exchange stories and share food at a loved one’s funeral. The land and the history are part of that memory, and this building imparts an emotional bond with all who enter.
The Rock Church is available for weddings, funerals, and other special services.
The Gathering Place is available for:

• family gatherings for graveside services
